ENGINEERS IN NATION BUILDING

In celebrating the 30th anniversary of its formation in 1972, the Board of Engineers Malaysia has published Engineers in Nation Building highlighting the contributions of engineers to the growth and development of the country.  The book also traces the growth and development of the engineering profession from a few sub-professionals undertaking public utility and infrastructure projects during the early days of the colonial period, to a well-established dynamic profession that has shaped the socio-economic landscape of the nation and ... beyond.

In addition to being a commemorative book, Engineers in Nation Building attempts to show the way engineers have touched the lives of people at home, at work and at play - yesterday, today and tomorrow.
